I notice there is a $50 PPFA Special that has lots of coupons, etc.

I have not been able to determine what the details are, and what the $50.00 Special provides.

Can anyone provide some more information?

thanks

Perhaps this will help:

The PPFA Annual Convention will be held January 27-30, 2019, hosted by the West Coast Art & Frame Expo/National Conference at Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino/Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

Download your free Convention packet from the PPFA online store at www.ppfa.com.

The packet includes coupons and discounted Convention passes with codes to use when you register at www.wcafexpo.com the deadline for VIP and Platinum All-Access Passes is January 10, 2019.

When you register, you’ll see 3 Sections:

  • Section A: National Conference and PPFA Education Sessions
  • Section B: Special Events
  • Section C: PPFA Convention Certification courses and exams, with separate pricing

Thanks Sheila and Cliff!

It was easy - even for someone with tri-focals.

Like you said, I went to WWW-PPFA.COM
Then I went to the book store.
Then I got the Convention Packet for $50.00, but I got a $50.00 Credit.
And then, next to the words 'Convention Packet' there was the words 'download' in light green.
I clicked that and a PDF file came up.

I printed out the 8 pages and I am reviewing them now.

It is great that the PPFA sponsored classes are now included within the regular classes. I'm sure we will have even more attendees now for those classes that are sponsored by PPFA!

again, thanks

Happy to help - and yes, I think having PPFA classes among the National Conference classes will be a huge benefit for us and introduce more people to our lovely network of PPFA framers!

I posted a list of the PPFA sessions under Industry Announcements - 4 classes from Hugh Phibbs and lots of other great classes (including Bevels with Russ!) - and they'll fill quickly, so register early to avoid disappointment, also to get an Early Bird discount.

See you all in Vegas!!!

Sheila with bifocals, but not trifocals:smile-new:

The WCAF site is so confusing  It is very unfriendly :livid: I've been trying for over an hour to figure out how to register for the casses. I'm about ready to give up and just go to the show just to meet with some of the vendors. Any help will be appreciated.

I would guess you pre registered with a show badge only. You need to click on one of the other options (a pass, or individual sessions) to choose classes. You will still get the free show badge.

if that doesn't work, call me and maybe I can walk you through it.

They opened the WCAF Anniversary Party back up, moved to a larger room, I registered a couple days ago for it. But it will fill up again I am sure!
