Has anyone been experiencing a ridiculous amount of problems with Roma orders? About a year ago, Customer Service at Roma practically fell off the map and I'd like to know why. They send us wrong mouldings almost every week, or they promise same day shipping and won't ship the order for 3 days. It has really messed up our turn around time. We have to tell customers to allow a MONTH if they order Roma! Im upset because Roma makes good moulding but the service there has truly been insane. They sent us a duplicate of an order we place 3 weeks ago that took them 3 weeks to ship. So we received the exact same mouldings that had already been cut, joined, and put together and sent home with customers!

Anyone else experiencing these types of problems with this company? We are really considering taking down the Roma samples but it is such a staple at our shop we just dont know. Id love to hear from others!

Thanks!

Not sure if this is the cause, but here is an excerpt from an email we received from Roma on April 4, 2018:

On March 23, 2018, at approximately 8:00 am EST, our security systems identified an extremely sophisticated cyberattack against Roma Moulding’s digital infrastructure. We took a variety of aggressive counter measures against the threat to protect our business and our partners, including further securing our IT infrastructure. We also immediately began an extensive investigation of the attack and are working closely with the appropriate authorities.

The cyberattack affected our main servers, telephone and email servers, along with our SAP infrastructure. This incident did not compromise any personal employee or partner data including names, credit card information, addresses or any other personal identifiable information.

Roma Moulding values your privacy, and heavily regrets that this incident has occurred. We take our role in safeguarding your personal information very seriously. Please rest assured that we are working around the clock with enterprise level security consultants to ensure we have implemented additional security measures designed to prevent a reoccurrence of such an attack, and to further protect your privacy.

We have been successful in restoring all our infrastructure, including our ability to fully service our partners. We have taken various additional steps to mitigate any potential service delays. Having said that, due to the severity of the incident, we do anticipate that there may be some delays in our service levels over the next several days.

It's always uncomfortable saying bad things about someone/some company, but you are not alone.

There have been many similar concerns expressed on a number of forums and groups. From Powder Post Beetles, that they denied for a time, to warped moulding, they have been having trouble. I, for one, have been replacing their samples when alternatives present themselves.
