    Amazing Prison Art

I haven't posted anything here for a while but this artwork is amazing. This 3D Harley was made out of paper and cardboard by a prisoner. It is so very detailed.
Sorry the after picture is not the greatest but with the mirrored back and reflections it was very hard to get any kind of picture to use.

    Frame is BW26671 Boardwalk
Shadow box extension 4" (made from pine and then I used a woodgraining tool and painted to match face)
Mat is a solid core and then I laminated it with bits of torn craft paper to emulate the look of the motorcycle.
    Finished size is about 17" x 16"

Here is a picture of just the motorcycle which is the star of this show

Unbelievable, the inmate did a wonderful job, SUCH DETAIL.

I like the shadowbox too, it works perfect and with the mirror on the back you can see that the detail of the motorcycle is total. Great job.

Awesome job on such a unique type of sculptural art. It's a beautiful piece, and you presented it perfectly. That is one lucky client to have you on board!

I don't see a picture. How does one access the referenced picture of the project? Thanks!

Pictures in posts are removed after a certain length of time. This was first posted in 2014. Message John privately and he may still be able to share the images with you.
